We are excited to share the school's new Christmas range depicting the famous Moose that holds pride of place in the dining hall.
The range includes Christmas cards, wrapping paper and Christmas baubles! See more details here, and place your order now in time for Christmas!
All proceeds will go to the school to better support our students now and in the future.

How to Purchase for Collection
- Take a look at the leaflet listing the items on sale
- Please register for a WisePay account to use the school's online shop. (Select "create an account" - this is quick and easy!)
- Log in to your account using the password emailed to you
- Complete your purchases before Thursday 10th December
Note items are listed under "Shop" > "Miscellaneous" - You'll be contacted when your order is ready for collection from the school, or collect it at the Musical Marathon on Saturday 6th December
A Musical Marathon

Join us as we make music around the clock and as we raise funds for the school. Talented school musicians will be joined by members of the Old Southendian Association and other friends of the school for this fantastic day celebrating many styles of music and our performers.
More activities, refreshments, a chance to get your ChristMoose merchandise (baubles, Christmas card, and wrap!) and opportunities to get involved during the day will be available.

Like to sing? Drop in for a chance to singalong to Christmas favourites from 2pm, and again later in the day as part of our "big finale" from 7:30pm to 9pm.
Play with the Big Band - bring your instrument and join the band at the end of their open rehearsal slot 2:20pm to 2:50pm.
Sing with the Chamber Choir - join the choir at the end of their open rehearsal slot 2:50pm to 3:15pm.
We're taking requests: sponsor a piece! Want a Christmas carol or other piece of music to feature during the day? Get in touch with your request and your bid, and we'll get back to you to confirm when to listen along if it's selected!

Following the success of the 2025 Summer Dinner Dance, The Old Southendian Association is pleased to share the date of next year's Festival of Music, featuring SHSB Big Band musicians past and present. Save the date for what promises to be a spectacular show with talented instrumentalists and singers.
More details will follow and be circulated in due course regarding the event and ticketing arrangements.

Thank you to everyone who joined The Old Southendian Association and raised over £13,000 for the Southend High School For Boys Charitable Trust!
It was an unforgettable evening of food, music and dancing at The Boundary, Garon Park with fantastic entertainment provided by the school's renowned Big Band and the Old Boys Band, featuring mix of current students and talented alumni.
SHSB Charity Walk 2025

The School ran its annual Charity Walk this summer in aid of the SHSB Charitable Trust... All told, over £12,700 was raised. Thank you to all involved for your support and generosity!
